Privacy notice

1. Data controller

SoundCam Productions Kft. (registered office: Üllői utca 48, 2364 Ócsa, Hungary; tax number: 13580100-2-13; EU VAT: HU13580100; e-mail: info@holochron.hu; phone: +36 30 372 4256). This website presents the HoloChron brand. This English text is provided for convenience; in case of discrepancy the Hungarian notice prevails.

2. What data we process, and why

Contact form

Data processed: name, e-mail address and, optionally, company name, phone number, the subject of the enquiry and the message text. Purpose: answering the enquiry, arranging a quote or a demo. Legal basis: your consent and steps taken prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and (b)). Messages sent through the form reach us by e-mail; on request we send a copy to your address.

Quote configurator

Data processed: name, e-mail address, company, phone number, details of the planned use (date, type, venue and address, audience size, description of the target group, the event or installation, the planned position of the display, ideas, remarks), the configured package and, optionally, up to three venue photos. Purpose: preparing a personalised quote and checking feasibility at the venue in advance. Legal basis: steps taken prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Venue photos are downscaled in your browser before upload; please do not upload images showing identifiable persons who have not consented.

The shareable link of a configuration (?q= parameter) contains only the configurator settings, no personal data.

Technical data

The website is static and hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS Amplify Hosting, EU region). Standard server logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser identifier) are generated and kept by the provider for a short period for security purposes. Form messages are forwarded to our own mailbox through AWS Lambda and Amazon SES (EU region).

3. Cookies and local storage

By default the website loads no tracking or marketing cookies. The browser's local storage holds only settings needed for the interface (for example the light/dark theme and your cookie decision); these cannot identify you and can be deleted from the browser at any time.

Measurement and advertising cookies (only with your consent). By clicking "Accept" in the cookie bar at the bottom of the page you allow the Google tag (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads) to load. These services set cookies (for example _ga, _ga_*, _gcl_au, for up to 2 years) and transfer visit data (pages viewed, device, approximate location, traffic source, whether the quote form or the chat was used) to Google Ireland Ltd. Our purpose is to measure traffic and evaluate the effectiveness of our advertising; the legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). If you decline or make no choice, the Google tag is not loaded at all. You can change your decision at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer; we ask for consent again every 6 months. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy; measurement can also be disabled with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Behaviour analytics (Microsoft Clarity, only with consent). By clicking “Accept” you also enable Microsoft Clarity, which records how you use the site: clicks, scrolling, mouse movement and the pages you view. We use this to build heatmaps and session replays so we can see where visitors get stuck. Text typed into forms and the chat is not included in recordings; it is masked. The service sets cookies (for example _clck, _clsk, up to 1 year), and the data is processed by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. Our purpose is to improve the usability of the site; the legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). If you decline, Clarity is not loaded. Microsoft’s privacy statement: privacy.microsoft.com.

Enhanced conversions. If you have consented to measurement cookies and you submit a quote or contact form, or ask for a colleague in the chat, we derive an irreversible checksum (SHA-256 hash) from the e-mail address and phone number you entered, inside your browser, and transfer only that hash to Google; the plain e-mail address and phone number never leave your browser and are not shared for advertising purposes. Its sole purpose is to measure the results of our advertising more accurately without cookies. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)); without consent this step does not run either.

Embedded videos use YouTube's cookie-free player (youtube-nocookie.com) and load only when you click them. Once playback starts, Google LLC may process data under its own privacy policy. Fonts are served from our own server; no external font provider is used.

4. Transfers and processors

• Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL: hosting, mail-sending function, e-mail forwarding (EU region).
• Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC: Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads measurement (only with your consent), YouTube video player (only after a click).

We do not pass personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. We disclose data to authorities or courts only to the extent required by law.

5. Retention

Enquiry and quote data are kept until the matter is closed, but no longer than 2 years from the last contact; if a contract is concluded, for the period required by accounting and civil law. Voluntarily submitted venue photos are deleted after the quote is prepared, at the latest when the project is closed.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing, object to processing, and exercise your right to data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Requests can be sent to info@holochron.hu; we reply within 30 days.

You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, Falk Miksa utca 9–11, 1055 Budapest; naih.hu) or bring the matter before a court.

7. AI assistants and data protection

Where HoloChron assistants operate at our clients' venues, the client is the data controller and SoundCam Productions Kft. acts as processor under the terms of the contract. The assistant discloses that it is an artificial intelligence; a real person's digital likeness is created only with written consent, in line with the transparency requirements of the EU AI Act.
